Federal LEOs

I am a former federal LEO. I would like to hear from any and all who are now or have served in similar positions.

I'm trying to get a job as a LEO but all the departments around here are on a hiring freeze. I'd like to end up Federal though.

Our local police department just had their budget reduced by 21 percent!

We're seeing similar budget cuts. Maybe this is what happens when you have all these bailouts. The people who need the money don't get it.

well congrats on your career and thank you for your service.. I'm currently in my POST academy and at this writing, top of my class, and next week i have an interview with our local SO to join their Reserve Progam until I graduate... i have met some DEA guys doing drug enforcement in my area and they seem really cool... definitely something i would want to do..
